1. The SDOX^TM system can be portable (trailer mounted) for deployment at remote locations using a standard gas powered generator as a source of power.  This feature would allow the device to be moved from location to location during periods of high demand.
   
   
2. The SDOX^TM system is specifically designed to treat biologically active water.  It delivers dissolved oxygen into the water to quench oxygen demand at the site of consumption.
   
   
3. The supersaturated water is released from an orifice discharge device that can be placed in any location within the depth of a water column and not just treat the surface (as do agitator-type aerators).  This controlled flow of oxygen saturated water can provide a zone of oxygenation wherever and whenever desired. 
   
   
4. The injection of supersaturated water with a controlled direction and velocity does not greatly disturb the water column or sedimentation as can occur with entrainment devices such as gas injectors.  This avoids resuspension of dormant oxygen consuming particulate in sediment that can actually increase oxygen demand in the water column.
   
   
5. The SDOX^TM system adds no chemicals, catalysts, enzymes, or exogenous materials to the water being treated.  Only water, oxygen or air is added.
   
   
6. The SDOX^TM system is scaleable so the rate of oxygen added can be increased or decreased to account for highly varying oxygen demand.  This feature also allows the SDOX^TM system to be operated based on input from a DO sensor, allowing only the required amount of oxygen be added at the required location.
